"We posted this video for 2 reasons. First of all, it's Sunday Sauce, so we put it up on that alone. Secondly it's Mario Carbone talking about and making his version of Sunday Sauce. Mario Carbone in Chef and a partner at Carbone Restaurant in Geenwich Village. The restaurant is famous and controversial for its very high prices. Some people love it, others don't. Anyway, Mario is here making his version, which looks pretty good, but the instructional part of this piece is disappointing and not good at all. It should be better, but it's not. Review - Great Recipes & Stories of Italian-America .... I didn't know what to expect before I loaded this on to my Kindle and started reading. The premise of the novel is a set of Italian recipes with each one accompanied by a story. This is the first of its kind that I've ever read or even heard of, so I thought I'd give it a chance and wasn't disappointed after finishing it a few days ago.Daniel does a great job of creating the recipes and making sure that each one feels authentic and taste wonderful. All of the stories with each recipe is also well done and does a great job of connecting the food to the story. It's hard to figure out which one is more enjoyable. The story side or the recipe side of this novel, but I had to chose it would be the recipe side of the novel as the recipes are truly great and highlight Italian cuisine.If you're looking for a great cook book to give you some great Italian dishes to try out all courses, with a few stories to read while your food is cooking, then this is definitely the book you've been looking for. As it does a splendid job of creating wonderful, quality meals..

This is The Best Italian Cookbook Ever !
Authentic Italian Cooking ... Many of the recipes are very close to those, my grandmother,who was from Sicily, made. These recipes are very good. My only critique is that the book could be edited better, but the recipes are very good. Buy the book if you want authentic italian recipes.

The GODFATHER Story
The Corleone family, one of the Five Families of the New York Mafia, fights the other four families in a brutal war in the years after World War II. After Don Vito Corleone is shot by men working for drug kingpin Virgil "The Turk" Sollozzo, Corleone's two sons, Santino (Sonny) and Michael, must run the family business with the help of consigliere Tom Hagen and the family's two trusted caporegimes, Peter Clemenza and Salvatore Tessio. When Michael murders Sollozzo and his bodyguard, corrupt NYPD Captain Mark McCluskey, while meeting with them in a restaurant, the conflict escalates into a full-scale war which results in Sonny's murder. Michael must return from hiding in Sicily to assume control of the family as the new Don.
Under his retired father's tutelage, Michael orchestrates a plan to exact revenge, while relocating the Corleone family's power base to Las Vegas in order to further his goal of legitimizing the family and getting them out of organized crime. This encompasses the murder of all of the Corleone family's enemies, including Michael's brother-in-law Carlo Rizzi, who played a part in Sonny's murder. After selling all of the family's remaining businesses in New York, the Corleones permanently move to Las Vegas.
